Mobtown took over the theater space that Axis
Theater had previously inhabited in the Meadow Mill complex.
Formerly the London Fog factory, Meadow Mill is home to a number of
non-profits, many of them with an artistic bent: Morton Street Dance
Company, the Baltimore Pottery Guild, the Baltimore Gemcutters
Guild, and the Handel Choir - just to name a few.
The Mobtown Theater is a 68-seat venue, and fully
handicapped-accessible. Most nights our concession stand offers not
only munchies and soda, but also beer and wine. Unlike many theaters,
we believe that a show is best enjoyed with a beverage; we allow whatever
you buy at the concession stand to be brought into the theater during the
show. Directions &

It's tough to find, we admit. MapQuest doesn't work very

We are also very convenient to Lightrail; the

The Concession
Stand
Most nights we offer a small selection of beer
and wine, along with soda, water, and snacks and candy. The
best part is, we're not like those fussy theaters you go to.
We want you to bring your beer and potato chips from
the concession stand into
the theater. And if you run out in the middle of the show,
feel free to quietly extricate yourself from your seat and come
out to the lobby for another. And after the show - hey!
We'll remain open for a short time so everyone but your designated
driver can get one for the road.

The Neighborhood
It's happening in Hampden! Several
fine establishments to eat and drink. And I can't even go on about half
the shopping. Most of everything is on The Avenue - 36th Street - and is
about two blocks away. And, hey, if you want to know a little more about
the 'hood - The
Hampden Village Merchants Association.
And if Hampden doesn't do it for ya', you can
always skip over to Coldspring Lane a few more blocks away to take advantage of
a few other Baltimore treasures. Or even head towards Homewood and Charles
Village.
Before the show, after the show - there's
always something else to do!
